General questions:

General questions answers:

Q: Will I have to register again for a new release of the Tuxware application?

By no means. Your one-time registration entitles you to sponsor new users of any subsequent release or version. In the meantime you should be prepared to answer new questions and then probably upgrade.

Q: What if I can't answer a question from a user I sponsored?

In such case you are advised to ask the question to you own sponsor if you have one, to the developing team if you don't. In case of a misfunction the developing team should be contacted and a bug report submitted.

Q: Which warranty do I have that I will be rewarded for my new recruits in case the application is not maintained any more?

None! If the Tuxware app's site is definitely removed or if the PayPal button does not link to a valid PayPal account any more, your new recruits won't be able to register, and of course you'll get no reward. C'est la vie !

Q: How do I claim for my recruits?

You don't. Just give your recruits the email address of your PayPal account for reference. Beware, this must be the same account than the one you used to register in the first place. Your recruits will identify you as their sponsor when they register, by mentioning this email address.

Q: What in case the app's team decides to modify the registration fee?

You will always be given half the amount paid by your recruit. It might be higher or lower than what you spent in the first place.

Q: I don't have a PayPal account. Can I register without opening one?

Depending on the type of PayPal account used by the app's team, you could in some cases register without a PayPal account, using a credit card. But then it wouldn't be possible to send your reward for your eventual recruits. So consider that a PayPal account is currently required for participation in the Tuxware scheme. However a PayPal personal account is free, and no fees are withdrawn for your transactions (outside eventual currency change).

Q: How do I remove my application from the Tuxware scheme?

Just remove the register_xy.php pages on your application's homepage, or at least the PayPal button. You should also ensure that no mirror site includes such a reference to your PayPal account for the app you remove.

Q: Wouldn't something like this draw the sort of people that send spam?

Spammers mostly count on a tiny margin of people that are very unexperienced, or very tired ;-) They can't afford to waste their victims in fair plans!

Q: What if some persons get recruits but never respond to their request for support?

Registered users refusing to provide support to their recruits without a good motive will be deprived of their right to be rewarded for new users after three complaints. Notice that at this time they will have been refunded at least one and a half time their initial contribution.
